Our Mission

Our mission at Crittenden Research is “To empower people by providing news and information they can use to make better decisions.” 

We do this by providing high-end news analysis that helps business leaders and professionals make better decisions in the real estate, insurance, golf and legal education markets. 

Our Heritage

Crittenden Partners is a partnership between Crittenden Research, Inc. and Cypress Magazines, Inc. 

Alan Crittenden founded Crittenden Research in 1972, with the launch of the Crittenden Report, a newsletter that covers real estate financing. The company eventually moved into other real estate markets, including golf, and insurance. The company also began hosting conferences in the 1980s. 

Jack Crittenden, Alan’s son, founded Cypress Magazines in 1991 with the launch of The National Jurist, a magazine for law students. The company took over operation of Golf Inc. in 1998 and launched preLaw magazine in 1999. 

On Oct. 1, 2020, Jack Crittenden acquired Crittenden Research, the company that his father, Alan, had founded in 1972, upon the retirement of Alan. Cypress and Crittenden Research merged and are operating under the name Crittenden Research.

About Us

Crittenden Research, Inc., founded in 1972, and Cypress Magazines, Inc., founded in 1991.

Both companies merged in 2020 and moved their headquarters from San Diego, California to Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Combined we publish four magazines, three paid newsletters, four live conferences, four news websites, and numerous virtual events and e-newsletters.
